Session: Tuesday, June 13, 2:00 PM — 3:00 PM EDT
Industry pressures such as rising costs and labor strains present challenges to the laboratory industry not experienced in recent memory. Laboratories pinched for capital spending may not view new equipment as a cost-effective solution, thereby resigning their focus to operational improvements. However, labs can expect approval for new instrumentation with a proper proposal that defines the widespread benefits of the investment. This presentation will highlight some of the management techniques and newer technologies for labs to consider when battling rising expenses.
This presentation will:
- Address three key challenges of the current environment
- Share techniques to consider for addressing key challenges
- Cover technology to consider for addressing key challenges
- Discuss how to successfully request new technology to address key challenges
