Stephanie Buxhoeveden, PhD, MSN, FNP-BC, MSCN, is a nurse practitioner, researcher, and dedicated advocate for people living with multiple sclerosis (MS). Diagnosed with MS at the age of 25, she turned her personal experience into a professional mission—combining clinical expertise, research, and advocacy to improve outcomes for those affected by the disease. Now serving as the chief scientific officer of the Accelerated Cure Project, Buxhoeveden leads groundbreaking initiatives that bridge the gap between research and real-world impact. She is also a longtime consultant for Can Do MS, hosts its podcast, and serves on the Board of Trustees for the National MS Society Virginia-West Virginia Chapter, where she champions community engagement.
