Tyler is from Green Bay, WI, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 2012. He is an ASCP certified medical laboratory scientist. Tyler is a laboratory manager at Bellin Memorial Hospital with eight years of experience providing comprehensive oversight of a full service central laboratory as well as laboratory manager at Bellin Health Oconto Hospital, a rural critical access hospital laboratory. He has an additional nine years of experience as the technical supervisor of microbiology, molecular microbiology, and immunology. With extensive experience in the clinical laboratory field, Tyler has authored and presented on more than 20 laboratory-focused topics, spanning his technical expertise of microbiology and laboratory management. He also serves on the laboratory technical advisory group (LabTAG) for the Wisconsin Clinical Laboratory Network (WCLN), serving as the representative for Region 7.
